AGENCIES HOLDING CHRISTMAS ASSISTANCE SIGN-UPS

Emmaus Mission Center will hold their sign-ups for Christmas Assistance beginning today (10/27). Signups will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week and next from 1-3 p.m. at their facility at 805 Spencer Street. A major change for this year is that Emmaus will only be accepting families with children, 18 and under. You should bring proof of residence, proof of income and proof of family size. For more information call the mission at 574-739-0731. You may only sign up through one agency, Emmaus, Salvation Army or Kokomo Rescue. On November 24, Kokomo Rescue will be at Emmaus from 9 AM to 2 PM to accept applications for their Red Ribbon Christmas. The Salvation Army will also hold their Christmas Assistance signups next week.
