BENEFIT ORIENTATIONS FOR CATERPILLAR EMPLOYEES

Current and former Caterpillar employees with the Large Power Systems Division in Lafayette, as well as all related onsite employees are covered by the federal Trade Adjustment Assistance Act (TAA) and are invited to attend benefit orientation sessions this week at the Ivy Tech Community College Campus in Lafayette.

Three separate sessions at 9:00 a.m. EST, 11:00 a.m. EST, and 3:00 p.m. EST are scheduled on Thursday, Dec. 17, as well as two on Friday, Dec. 18 at 9:00 a.m. EST, and 11:00 a.m. EST. Session attendance is based on alphabetical order of employee last name. The TAA program and related benefits will be discussed. TAA benefits include wage replacement, education and training assistance, medical insurance aid, as well as other job-seeking services depending on worker eligibility. All current and former Caterpillar, Large Power Systems Division and related onsite employees who cannot attend one of the orientation sessions are strongly encouraged to visit their local WorkOne as soon as possible.
