CANDIDATE FOR SURVEYOR ANNOUNCES

The Cass County Clerk’s Office is preparing for next year’s presidential election, which also includes several state and county offices.

Josh LeDonne has announced his intent to run for Cass County Surveyor as a Republican. He’s a 2001 graduate of Lewis Cass High School and has been actively involved in 4-H, serving as president of the Board of Directors for the last three years. He says his farming background will help in recognizing some of the county’s drainage issues, and his 4-H involvement gives him a good working relationship with the agricultural workforce.

The office is currently held by Jenny Clark.

Candidates can file for office beginning January 6, 2016. Local offices on the ballot include Superior Court 1 Judge, clerk of the circuit and superior court, auditor, treasurer, coroner, surveyor, 1st and 2nd district county commissioners and three seats for County Council at Large.

Also on the ballot in 2016 will be President, Indiana’s US Senators, Indiana’s governor, attorney general, state supt of public instruction, US Rep in Congressional District 4 and State Representatives.
