Crash
On Friday, Deputies with the Cass County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of a single vehicle accident involving injuries located at US 35 just south of County Road 900 South, Witnesses advised Deputies that the vehicle, a red Mustang, driven by a John W. Shaffer of Logansport, age 72, was traveling at a high rate of speed, and went to pass three other Southbound vehicles. After passing the three vehicles, Shaffer’s vehicle overturned twice. He passed away later at the hospital.
