Logansport Man Cited For Deadly Chicago Crash
A news release from Illinois State Police shows that a Logansport man could face charges after causing a huge crash near Chicago. The crash on Interstate 55 resulted in several other accidents and sparked a huge fire when a minivan was shoved from behind underneath a semitrailer loaded with nearly 18,000 pounds of paint. State Police say David Hlebasko, of Logansport, was given a ticket for failing to reduce speed and following too closely. The name of the victim who died has not been released.
