FedEx Driver Falls Out Of Delivery Truck, Slams Into Home

A FedEx driver from Kokomo somehow fell out of his delivery truck in Peru on Wednesday. The truck struck a house and did substantial damage to the structure. The commotion happened as police said 30 year-old Kevin Byers attempted to make a turn onto Huntington Street from 2nd Street. The police report shows that a portable radio on Byer’s hip started to fall out of its holder. As Byer’s tried to quickly grab onto it, he lost control of the steering wheel and fell out of his drivers seat. The FedEz truck drove through some shrubbery and struck the side of a house at 64 Huntington. Byers was not seriously hurt.
