Police Confirm Weapons Removed From Standoff House

Logansport Police say all weapons that were inside a home where a man barricaded himself for around 10 hours have now been removed. The home is located in the 400 block of West Miami. Police responded at about 8:30 Saturday night, but the man threatening to harm himself refused to come out. By around 6:30 Sunday morning, a SWAT Team shot tear gas into the house. The man finally came out, but police weren’t able to remove the weapons because of the gas. A check of the house yesterday confirmed the weapons had been removed.
