LHS English Teacher Continues In State Contest

Logansport’s Jitka Nelson is still in the running for Indiana teacher of the year. The field has been narrowed down to three finalists, with Nelson being notified that she made the list yesterday. The winner is scheduled to be announced next month. Nelson teaches English at LHS. It is the first time a LCSC teacher has made the finalist list.
