Logansport Approves More Money For 18th Street Bridge

The Logansport City Council has approved more money to help fund replacement of the 18th Street Bridge. Last month, the council approved more than 200-thousand dollars for lights and railing. On Monday, the council approved another 50-thousand dollars. The state is replacing the bridge, so that cost is not on the city. But the city says they underestimated the total cost of the extras. Larry Hood was the only council member voting against the extra money, saying he is troubled with some of Logansport’s other economic challenges.
