Governor Eases Restrictions for Loads of Hay

Hoosiers are responding to the need for animal feed in Texas, Kansas, and Oklahoma because of wildfires that have devastated parts of those states. Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb has directed the state to ease regulations for oversize loads of hay transported by truck. Permits for wide loads of hay traveling from or through Indiana through April 8 will be issued free of charge; Be issued to vehicles and loads up to 12 feet in width and allow continuous travel seven days per week.
