Monticello Man Arrested for Corrupt Business Influence

A Monticello man has been charged with selling unregistered securities and corrupt business influence. 71 year-old William E. Tully allegedly solicited money for an investment in an online business billed as a “revolutionary diet system”. According to authorities he was wired $25,000 from one couple and secured $15,000 from an elderly woman living in an assisted living facility. A majority of the money was used to pay personal loans and utility bills.
