New Waverly Rail Crossing to Close, Clymers Crossing Remains Closed

A rail crossing in New Waverly will be closed for three to four days, beginning Wednesday, May 24. Norfolk Southern has informed the highway department of the crossing closure at Cedar Street/CR 975E in New Waverly. The crossing is expected to re-open by Friday or early Saturday. Traffic in the area can cross at CR 950E, just west of the closed crossing.

     Also the NS rail crossing in Clymers remains closed through early next week. The road is closed for construction, but local traffic should be aware that the NS crossing on 400S will be completely closed until at least Tuesday May 30. Local traffic can detour to the east using Vandalia and Main Streets.
