TIRE COLLECTION BEGINS APRIL 1

The annual residential tire collection program, sponsored by the Cass County Solid Waste Management District, is set to begin Wednesday, April 1. The program, which is open to Cass County residents and farmers, is handled by appointments made through the district office.

There is no charge for the first ten car tires. Each car tire after that is two dollars.

Semi tires are five dollars each, and tractor tires are fifteen dollars each for the  first four, and thirty dollars each for tractor tires five through ten.

At this point, the plan is to continue the tire collection program until the appointments slow down significantly, or until the end of July.

If you have any questions about the program or would like to schedule an appointment, just contact the CCSWMD Office at (574) 732-9253.
