AREA SITES OFFERING FREE STUDENT MEALS

Several area institutions will be offering free summer meals to kids 18 and under as part of the Summer Food Service Program. Logansport High School, Columbia Elementary School, Lewis Cass High School, Maple Lane Village and the Logansport-Cass County Public Library are all summer food service program lunch sites. A couple of the sites are also offering breakfast. Two area churches are distributing free sack lunches as well -- from 11 am to noon on Mondays and Wednesdays, Cross Wind United Methodist will provide free summer sack lunch to students on the free or reduced lunch program in front of Fairview Elementary, and on Tuesday and Thursday, Vineyard Community Church will provide sack lunches in front of Franklin Elementary from 11 a.m. to noon.
