BOMB THREAT EVACUATES MIAMI CO COURTHOUSE

The Miami County courthouse was evacuated yesterday after a bomb threat. Sheriff Tim Miller says staff received a call around 2 pm yesterday stating there was a bomb in the building. An evacuation was initiated and a search was conducted by K( units from the Howard County Sheriff’s Office and the Berrien County Michigan Sheriff’s OFfice. The building was declared clear and secure at 3:40 p.m. An investigation is currently under way and anyone with information is asked to contact the Miami County Sheriff’s Department.
