Ivy Tech Community College will celebrate its 5th annual Ivy Tech Days of Service, at all campuses statewide this week in conjunction with National Random Acts of Kindness Week.
Service projects will be occurring across the state and involve more than 1,000 Ivy Tech faculty, staff and students. Each campus will partner with a not-for-profit or service organization in their community to provide hands-on projects for students, faculty and staff to complete together.
Locally, Ivy Tech students are encouraged to support the Kokomo Humane Society and Cass County Human Society b stopping by one of two events to make dogs toys to be donated. Phi Theta Kappa (Logansport) will be assisting Cass County Humane Society Saturday with day to day operations or other tasks that need addressed.
