HOOVER NAMED BICENTENNIAL CITIZEN
Logansport High School’s recent state champion is this week’s Logansport Bicentennial Citizen. LHS Junior Jake Hoover was recently named the state speech champion in original oratory. Mayor Dave Kitchell, who coached speech while teaching at Lewis Cass, says he has a special appreciation for the original oratory competition and the subject Hoover chose. The Bicentennial Citizen Award is presented weekly to Logansport residents or residents who have distinguished themselves state- or nation-wide.
