Logansport Police have arrested a Peru man after a female gas station employee reported being attacked and raped earlier this month. The Pharos-Tribune reports that the incident happened March 5 at McClure Oil on E. Market St. in Logansport. 26-year-old Bryan Allen Barton of Peru was interviewed March 9 and, according to the Pharos-Tribune, failed a polygraph exam he agreed to let the Logansport Police Department administer Monday.
According to court records, bond was set at $5,000 cash and $25,000 surety and a no contact order was entered. An initial hearing is set for 1 p.m. March 17 in Cass Circuit Court.
