CITY COUNCIL WILL VOTE ON $25,000 FOR MUEHLHAUSEN PARK & AQUATIC CENTER

At a meeting last night at city hall, city council members agreed to vote on providing $25,000 for repairs needed to get the pool at Muehlhausen Park & Aquatic Center up and running. The vote will take place Monday, June 6, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the third floor of the City Building. The womens’ shower room floor and drainage, ventilation in the bathhouses, a booster pump for the splash pad, and electricity to the basketball court and pavilion are all issues that need to be addressed. Some repairs will be completed immediately while others will have to be put off until later in the year. The pool was originally scheduled to open for the season on June 3rd, but the necessary work could very well push that date back to the middle of the month.
