Don Densborn, son of Tom and Betty Densborn of Logansport, has been named the Best Lawyers 2017 Lawyer of the Year. Mayor Dave Kitchell also has named him as the second recipient of the Logansport Citizen of the Week Award.
Densborn, a Logansport High School graduate, was recognized as “a seasoned business lawyer who represents companies in a myriad of industries, including manufacturing, service, real estate, technology, distribution, logistics, alternative energy, metals, senior living, private equity, prepaid card, banking and finance.”
Densborn graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and Robert McKinney School of Law. He and his wife Kathleen, who also is a Logansport native, spend much of their time in Culver.
“Don is an example of someone who is another ‘Logansport product’ who has reached the pinnacle of a profession in the state,” Kitchell said. “Both he and Kathy, a former state lottery director, are well known for their many contributions to the greater Indianapolis community.”
Densborn will receive a certificate from the Mayor’s Office and a gift certificate.
The Citizen of the Week Award is presented on an ongoing basis to recognize local residents and natives for their work or volunteerism.
