Indiana University Kokomo athletics has begun a national search for head coaches for the Cougars men’s and women’s basketball teams.
Potential candidates may apply via Jobs.IU.edu. No email applications will be accepted. Both are full-time, benefits eligible positions. Anticipated start date is April 3, 2017.
Both the men’s and women’s teams are having their best seasons in each program’s short history. The men’s team, led by interim coach Alex Birge, currently has a 9-9 record, and is 4-2 in River States Conference play. This is one win shy of the program record for wins in a season.
The women’s team has already surpassed its previous record for wins in a season, with a 12-6 record, and is 5-1 in the conference. The women’s team will be led for the rest of the season by interim coaches Carlee Cottrell and Greg Cooper.
