J.C. Penney Pushes Back Closing Date

J.C. Penney has pushed back its planned liquidation processes at 138 stores in 41 states from April 17 to May 22. Those stores, including the Logansport Mall location, which were set to close in mid-June, will now close on July 31. A J.C. Penney spokesman said since announcing store closures, affected locations have seen better than expected sales and traffic.
