Kokomo Teen Dies in West Side Car Accident

A Kokomo teen died in a single vehicle car accident here in Logansport over the weekend. According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department 17 year-old Megan Stines was westbound on West Market Street early Saturday morning and travelling at a high rate of speed when her vehicle struck two utility poles near the intersection with Wheatland Avenue. Stines was ejected from the vehicle and was later pronounced dead at Logansport Memorial Hospital. Her passenger, 19 year-old Devin Minneman of Logansport survived the crash. He was also initially taken to Memorial Hospital for injuries and then was transported to another hospital.
