Armour Eckrich Recalls Nearly 91,000 Pounds of Breakfast Sausage

Armour Eckrich Meats is recalling approximately 91,000 pounds of ready-to-eat sausage products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically pieces of metal. The products are labeled “ECKRICH SMOK-Y CHEDDAR BREAKFAST SAUSAGE, NATURALLY HARDWOOD SMOKED” and have a Use By date of “08/17/17.” These items were shipped to distribution centers in Arkansas, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products, but consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them.
