Logansport Man Sentenced in Child Pornography Case
A Logansport man has been sentenced by a federal court for production of child pornography. 52 year-old Johnny Clay Amos will serve 275 months in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release. Amos reportedly paid individuals in the Philippines to provide minor children to perform sex shows via live-streaming webcam. He made more than 100 money transfers to the Philippines and, on at least ten separate occasions, induced young females to engage in sexually explicit conduct over the internet. Investigators found over 800 videos and images of child pornography in Amos’ residence last March.
