“Prescription Drug Take Back” Nets 1200 Lbs. of Meds Statewide

Saturday’s 13th annual “Prescription Drug Take Back” initiative collected over 1,200 pounds of unused or expired medications in the state of Indiana. 60 lbs of that was collected at the Indiana State Police Peru post. The Take-Back initiative is sponsored by the DEA and seeks to prevent prescription drug abuse and theft.
