LOGANSPORT MAN KILLED IN TIPPECANOE COUNTY ACCIDENT

A 20 year old Logansport man was killed Monday afternoon in Tippecanoe County when his motorcycle was struck by a pickup truck. The Lafayette Journal and Courier reports that Roger Spencer III of Logansport was eastbound on Tippecanoe County Road 500 North when he rode into the path of a truck that was northbound on CR 50 W, then struck a stopped vehicle. Spencer was wearing a helmet and was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died.
