NEW CEO AT LOGANSPORT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

Logansport Memorial Hospital CEO David Ameen announced earlier this year that he plans to retire at the end of the year. Yesterday, the hospital announced that the board of Trustees plans to approve his successor at their meeting Monday night. Perry Gay

Perry Gay holds an MBA and has served as the chief executive officer of Toppenish Community Hospital in Washington since early 2014. Prior to that he was Chief Operating Officer of Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center, as well as of Toppenish Community Hospital in Washington. Perry and his wife Keva have four school age children and will be moving to Cass County.

Dr. Dallis Bowditch, chairman of Logansport Memorial Hospital’s board of trustees, said the board has been working for the past 18 months to determine the hospital’s future and reached a consensus that Logansport Memorial Hospital will remain an independent community hospital.
