Today is the first day that Logansport and Royal Center voters can cast a ballot for the upcoming municipal elections. Logansport voters will choose the city’s leadership for the next four years, including mayor, clerk-treasurer and all seven seats on the Logansport City Council.
In Royal Center there’s a contested race for Town Council, Ward 1.
Voting begins today in the garage at the Cass County Government Building on 4th Street. Voting hours this week and next are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 24 and Saturday, Oct. 31. Vote Centers at the Logansport Mall and Downtown Senior Center will open next week, and a vote center will be open in Royal Center on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3.
