UNITED WAY ANNOUNCES NEW HIRE

The United Way of Cass County has announced the hiring of a new director of donor relations and resource development. Chris Armstrong, who served as the community development director for the city of Logansport for the past four years has been hired to grow the resource development, build and maintain relationships and to bring a broad understanding of the United Way to the community. Prior to her four years as part of city government, she served as the executive director for Big Brothers Big Sisters, where she was instrumental in increasing funds, numbers of children served, and marketing and public relations. Along with numerous community services, Chris has been a key volunteer for the United Way campaign for many years, and past board president for the Logansport-Cass County Chamber of Commerce, Noon Kiwanis, and Tourism.
