Howard County Bans Vaping Products
Howard County leaders have approved a ban on e-cigarettes. They had already banned smoking on county properties, but now people who use the popular vaping instruments will also have to find another place to partake in the habit. The group calling itself Howard County Tobacco-Free is hailing the decision as a positive step in creating a healthier community for all residents. Spokesperson Shirley DuBois told the Kokomo Herald that the commission’s decision recognizes the dangers that scientists already recognize about nicotine and tobacco products. However, there have been no scientific studies showing vaping products are harmful.
