Kokomo Hit By Tornado Wednesday

Wicked weather wreaks havoc in Kokomo. On Wednesday, as many as three tornadoes touched down in the region. CNN is reporting as many as 20 people were injured in Kokomo and rural Howard County. A state police spokesman said many of the injuries were caused by flying debris. Governor Mike Pence left the campaign trail and came home to Indiana. The mayor says he estimates at least 50 homes sustained severe damage. A temporary state of emergency was declared in Howard County, meaning all roads were closed except for public safety and emergency traffic. That declaration ended at 9pm last night.
