Peru Man Pleads Guilty To Child Sex

A child molestation case in Peru has now led a local man to plead guilty. 26 year-old Nathaniel Caroway was charged after a case originating in Logansport early this year. On Tuesday, Caroway appeared before a judge and pleaded guilty to having sex with a child less than 14 years of age. The victim told authorities there were as many as 30 encounters with the man over a two year period. Caroway will be back in court for sentencing in October, when he will face up to 40 years in state prison.
