Man Electrocuted Near Bunker Hill

A death investigation is underway in Miami County, near the town of Bunker Hill. The sheriff’s department responded to the intersection of 400 East and 600 South after getting the report of a man laying next to a tractor unresponsive. The man is identified as Trevor Hughes, who was reportedly spraying crops sometime before 5:30 Wednesday afternoon. At some point, one of the sprayer arms got caught in an electrical line and Hughes was electrocuted. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Hughes was 40 years-old.
