One Dead, Five Injured In US 24 Crash

We begin with breaking news overnight, as a young girl is dead and several others injured when a car lost control west of Logansport. The crash happened on US 24, west of 400 West. Police say a 12 year-old girl died of her injuries when the car struck a tree. At least five other people were taken to area hospitals in critical condition. The sheriff said he believes everyone in the car is from Ohio. A witness reported he may have seen the car trying to pass another car when a semi approached head-on.
