DUI Checklane Planned For Cass County Friday
If you have party plans in Cass County this weekend, be aware that state troopers will be watching you. A DUI checklane is planned for Friday night. It’s being conducted by Indiana State Police. Not only the checkpoint is being planned, but afterwards, troopers will roam area streets aggressively looking for impaired drivers throughout the Peru district. According to statistics provided by ISP, someone dies in an impaired driving crash every 52 minutes in the US. In Indiana, 101 people died involving alcohol related crashes in 2014. ISP is not saying exactly where the DUI checklane will be Friday night.
