Logansport Men Receive Maximum Sentence in Manor Motel Robbery

Two Logansport men have been sentenced in conjunction with a violent robbery that took place at the Manor Motel in January 2015. Christopher Brown, 29 and Brandon Black, 22 were each sentenced to 60 years in the Indiana Department of Correction - the maximum sentence, for robbery resulting in serious bodily injury and conspiracy to commit robbery. Brown was also sentenced an additional 20 years for being a habitual offender. The case had previously been tried in February of this year but had resulted in a mistrial.
