State To Give $1M To Huntington County For Trails

The state says more than $1 million will go to Huntington County in northeastern Indiana to pay for trail development. The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says the money comes from the state’s Regional Cities Initiative. State officials say the Little River Trail projects will have more than three-quarters of a mile of trails for pedestrians and cyclists, connecting downtown Huntington with a regional trail network along the Little River.
