Two Injured In 600 East Crash

A violent crash at 600 East and US 24 early Wednesday left two people in the hospital. 59 year-old Thomas Kendall, of Peru, was reportedly headed north on 600 East and didn’t yield to a westbound box truck driven by a man from Ohio. The ensuing crash mangled both vehicles and injured both drivers. Traffic was a mess on 24 until emergency crews could remove the wreckage.
