An informational meeting for anyone interested in participating in this year's event will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13 at the Logansport Parks & Recreation Department, 1701 Dividend Dr. (across from Huston Park). and complete the parade entry form. There is no fee to participate. Entries from churches, schools, families, businesses, organizations and more are welcome, including those from surrounding communities.
The theme of this year's parade is "Indiana's Bicentennial."
The parade committee is also recruiting volunteers to assist along the parade route on Friday, Nov. 25. If your business or organization is looking for a service project, or if you are an individual who would be willing to volunteer, please e-mail lightuplogansport@gmail.com.
