Woodhouse Retires from State Police Post after 30 Years

Miami County resident Pam Woodhouse is retiring from the Indiana State Police Peru Post after 30 years of service. According to a news release from the state police, Woodhouse served as a secretary for 13 years and then was transferred to serve as the evidence clerk at the Indiana State Police Peru Post, a position she held until her recent retirement.

Indiana State Police Sergeant Dean Marks stated that “Pam not only served with professionalism and skill second to none, she also brought a sense of caring and family to the Peru District.  Pam was often a compassionate ear for people to talk to, she was always the first to volunteer for a cause, and she often posted notes around the Peru District wishing Happy Birthday to employees on their special day.”
