Brookston Copter Crash Claims One Life

A helicopter crash near Brookston has claimed one life. Indiana State Police say the preliminary investigation shows that the helicopter was assisting EC Source out of Mesa, Arizona put up power lines on new steel poles. For an unknown reason the helicopter crashed to the ground seriously injuring the pilot, 53 year-old Howard Y. Esterbrook of Hawaii, who eventually succumbed to his injuries.
