A 19-year-old Carroll County man was killed yesterday and four others were injured when his vehicle crashed into a semitrailer late Thursday morning at the intersection of SR 29 and SR 18 E. northeast of Flora. According to WLFI, authorities say a loaded semi-trailer driven by 49 year old George Bonestell of Oklahoma was heading north on SR 29. As it was crossing the SR 18 intersection, an SUV driven by 19-year-old Jeramey Mossholder, of Camden, Ind., struck the side of trailer. Mossholder was pronounced dead at the scene by the Carroll County Coroner. Bonestell was taken to a Kokomo hospital with unknown injuries. Three passengers in Mossholder's vehicle — 21-year-old Chase Smith, of Logansport, Ind., 21-year-old Tyler Breedlove and 19-year-old Brittany Hughes, of Peru. Two were airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital and one was taken St. Vincent-St. Joseph Hospital in Kokomo. Investigation into the crash continues.
