POLICE INVESTIGATING SHOOTING ON LINDEN AVE.

A Logansport man sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso last night in the 100 block of West Linden Avenue, but Logansport Police say they believe it was a targeted act of violence and have no reason to believe it was a random act. In a news release issued this morning, police say multiple leads are being investigated and they have two people of interest. Police responded to a report of shots fired around 11 p.m. last night. They say the victim, 25 year old Timothy E. Armstrong, called 911 and stated he had been shot multiple times in the chest in the 100 block of West Linden Avenue.

Upon arrival, Officers located Mr. Armstrong lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso. Armstrong was taken to Logansport Memorial Hospital and transported to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, where he was listed in critical condition as of this morning.
