STUTZMAN ANNOUNCES SENATE CANDIDACY

Republican Congressman Marlin Stutzman officially announced his candidacy for US Senate on Saturday. Senator Dan Coats announced earlier this year that he does not plan to seek re-election. Stutzman is a fourth-generation farmer who represents Indiana’s third congressional district in the U.S. House. Prior to running for Congress, he ran for Indiana State Representative and became the youngest member of the Indiana General Assembly, where he served in both the House and the Senate from 2002-2010. Former Indiana Republican Party Chair Eric Holcomb has also announced his candidacy.
