A Fulton County resident discovered an overturned vehicle on his property around 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Fulton County Sheriff’s Department says 25-year old Andrew Overmyer of Argos was ejected from his vehicle when it ran off the roadway and struck a fence, a tree stump and a tree. The accident remains under investigation and why the vehicle left the roadway has not been determined.
A Peru man died Friday night of injuries sustained in a crash that morning on Wabash Road, west of Miami County Road 700 E. 52 year old James White of Peru was eastbound on Wabash Road when he lost control of his pickup truck and traveled into a ditch. The truck rolled at least once, ejecting White. The Indiana State Police say he was not wearing a seatbelt.
