ACCIDENTS RESULT IN INJURIES




A 19 year old Logansport woman suffered a broken leg when her vehicle hit a tree head on Wednesday afternoon. It happened on Georgetown Road, about a mile west of Cass County Road 400 West. Jamie Pay was transported to Logansport Memorial Hospital.

An early morning accident on Wednesday left a vehicle stuck in the bank of the Wabash River off of South River Road. The vehicle’s three occupants reportedly climbed out of the car and walked to a nearby residence for help, where the homeowners notified authorities of the accident that happened just after 2 a.m. Wednesday morning. Three passengers were taken to Logansport Memorial hospital with complaints of pain. 35-year-old Ryan Brugh of Logansport was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear, and was reportedly in possession of paraphernalia, according to the Pharos-Tribune.

Another accident Wednesday afternoon pushed a vehicle into a Logansport school bus at the intersection of West Roselawn and East Broadway. No children were on board the bus at the time of the accident.
