CARROLL COUNTY ASKING FOR TIPS AFTER 2ND ROBBERY

A Carroll County bank was robbed yesterday -- for the second time in two weeks.

It happened just before 10:30 Thursday morning at the Salin Bank in Flora.

Preliminary investigation by the Flora Police Department with assistance from Carroll County Sheriff’s Department and the Indiana State Police, has revealed that two suspects entered the bank through the front door. They approached the tellers and displayed a gun demanding money. Suspects fled the bank and exited the area in a waiting possibly black Jeep Cherokee and left the area southbound on SR 75. An undisclosed amount of USC was taken in the robbery.

One suspect was wearing black pants with orange shorts underneath. Suspect two was wearing a black and white hooded sweatshirt. Both were wearing masks and gloves.
