The agency currently has 150 local residents on a waiting list for the housing, and only 20 available vouchers. Anyone interested in securing housing through the agency can stop by the office at the Area Five Agency on Aging and Community Services on Smith Street, or call the agency. Its hours are from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 9 a.m. until noon Wednesday. The agency’s number is 753-4666.

LOGANSPORT HOUSING AUTHORITY HAS NEW LEADER
A Logansport native has assumed a new role in running a federally-funded agency in Cass County. Molly McBride has been named the new Logansport Housing Authority Executive Director and will administer all Section 8 housing vouchers through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
