The office of Logansport Code Enforcement would like to remind all residents that mowing season is here. Please mow your grass before it is 8 inches or taller to avoid the city from doing it. If the city has to mow your grass, you will be fined. If you do not pay the fine, a lien will be placed on your property.

The Building Commissioner would like to remind residents of the garage sale rules and regulations. Garage Sales within the Logansport city limits must have a permit. The cost of the permit is $5 for 1 or 2 days and $10 for 3 or 4 days. Garage sales are only permitted 2 days twice per year for a total of four days. Signs are not permitted between the sidewalk and street, including on trees. Also no signs are permitted on any telephone or light poles or street or highway signs. The signs will be confiscated and will not be returned. Failure to comply could result in a fine of not less than $100 per violation and no more than $300 per violation. Permits can be obtained at the Building Commissioners office on the 3rd floor of the Logansport City Building, 601 E. Broadway.
